I just got home. I feel so tired. But I feel wicked good.
I just got home. I feel so tired. But I feel wicked good.
Me: "Yes. I would cry." *smiles*
Nate: "Pussy."
It proved to be worth it. We stayed there for at least two hours just drawing and turning their restaurant into our own personal studio of sorts. Our waitress kept walking over to our table to watch us draw and kept commenting on how she loves drawing and zombies and her sister's drawings and comics and school (the list goes on). We ended up drawing her an Art Battle. I guess she was stoked about it. After that we went to Wal.Mart. I hate that place, but we always find ourselves there after Denny's. Mostly dicking around and whatnot. We kinda zombied around and Nate was just being his usual insane self. After all of that we went to Wegmans for some Jones (which they had NONE of, BASTARDS!) and then we drove home, listened to some Gorillaz, then passed out. Nate is still sleeping and I'm finally getting around to getting my ass up and moving.
WEEEEEE!
Now I iz gonna go do some art stuffs.
( NOW HERE ARE SOME PICTURES! :D )
At least we had a good time though XD
I'm finally getting around to making myself some business cards. I really want something interesting and perhaps a little untraditional. The thing is, I want to theme my cards around one of my favorite quotes:
"The most important thing in art is The Frame. For painting literally; for other arts: figuratively - because, without this humble appliance, you can't know where The Art stops and The Real World begins." - Frank Zappa
Anyone have any cool-a-roo ideas?I love doing Artist Trading Cards.
I knew once I met Karen something awesome was going to happen involving this. She had the idea of putting a box here at the store for artists in this small town, middle of nowhere place to come together, have fun, and trade cards with one another. She said she was going to get a hold of Ann and see if it was possible. A few weeks later I realized that we have a few writer's groups here and the ever famous "
Today was the day I finally got a hold of her....She said that was an awesome idea!
So, It is now my soul duty to have to put together an "Artist Trading Card" group here at the Bookstore. I am responsible for organizing, advertising (with some help from Karen since she has Art's Council ties), and hosting each meeting...
I am SO stoked.
Watch us watch the movie!
We saw this review on the film Mummy Maniac...
The boy clearly states "Don't watch this movie."
But what do we hear?
